1、接通电源及水源。
2、根据芯样直径选择相应的夹具，将芯样夹紧并转到底盘中心位置后将夹具索紧。
3、松开上、下索紧手轮，转动升降手轮，当磨轮端面距芯样端面1mm时停止。然后索紧上索紧手柄，开启进水嘴阀门通水，并闭合电源开关，使磨轮转动，然后逆时针转动手轮，并同时顺时针转动微动手轮使磨头下降。当磨轮端面接触试样端面时摆动磨头进行磨削，直至磨平试样端面。
4、磨削完毕，关闭电源及水嘴阀并逆时针转动微动手轮，使其处于上极限位置。
5、松开夹具索紧手柄，将夹具同试样一同取下并反向安装，重复2、3、4步动作磨削另一端面。直至芯样端面符合要求为止。
6、磨平机用后关闭电源，擦试干净机器。
