1.削土刀切开环刀周围的土壤，取出已装满土的环刀，细心削去环刀两端多余的土，并擦净环刀外面的土。环刀两端立即加盖，以免水分蒸发。随即称重(精确到0.01g)并记录。
2、田间选择挖掘土壤剖面的位置，然后挖掘土壤剖面，按剖面层次，分层采样，每层重复3次。如只测定耕作层土壤容重，则不必挖土壤剖面。
